Solidarity with leftist and simply humanitarian causes is extremely important to us here at Commons, and we use the business to do just that.
10% of all profit is donated to a different left-wing cause or charity every single month. The following lists each charity/cause/campaign each month’s profits are donated to.

dsa labor solidarity fund
The DSA solidarity fund is distributed to local DSA chapters, allowing the chapters to support workers during strikes union drives, and other times when workers need solidarity.
February:
Save the children (congo)
Save the Children provides medical aid to young children and pregnant mothers in the DRC as they face war, starvation, and sickness.
March:
international rescue committee (sudan)
The International Rescue Committee is providing emergency humanitarian aid to the Sudanese displaced by never-ending war.

Heal palestine
Heal Palestine is a non-profit providing life-saving emergency surgeries and rehabilitation for children in Gaza.

Lucy Parsons Lab
Lucy Parsons Lab is a non-profit organization investigating illegal uses of technology by private corporations and bringing them to court. Especially important in the age of AI and the surveillance state!

This NAACP committee has been on the forefront of crucial work to stop the building of more AI data centers. Through the harmful environmental impacts of the centers, the NAACP has been successful in fighting massive tech corporations in court.

Joint organization of the Democratic Socialists of America with America’s most left-wing union, United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America, to make labor unions more accessible to the common worker.
